In the scheme of things, numbers (weights) don’t really mean a hell of a lot. I get that, I like photographic evidence, the visuals.
So here we go: on the left in May, and on the right was taken yesterday (please excuse how awful I look, I’m sick and had been cleaning/packing all day).
I started the Dukan diet on June 11th, and included in that timeframe I’ve enjoyed non-Dukan-friendly birthday celebrations (including wine), a cheeseburger and an almond Magnum. So realistically it’s been about 10 days of proper Dukaning.
I realise it’s not a huge difference, and most probably wont see it – but to me, I see myself daily and I can see it. These photos are the little pep talk I need sometimes to keep myself motivated. That’s precisely what has happened. I was starting to get bored, but now I’m just excited.
I’ve also been hearing great things about The 4-Hour Body, it is (in parts) similar to Dukan but somehow not as strict. I’m going to have a read through of it, as I feel you can never have too much knowledge – but I also know that Dukan is working for me, and when something works, you stick at it.
