London Olympics 2012. I will be there. Not to compete of course, I’ve done a half marathon – that’s about all my body could handle. No, I’m going to be a spectator!
I’m beyond excited! I never thought the opportunity to attend an Olympic event would ever be within my reach. But it’s here, and I have tickets. I’m going with a friend who is already over in London. Thankfully he had already registered himself on the website so after he text me his password it was quite simple. It wasn’t cheap, £75, but I figure it’s a once in a life time opportunity!
We’re off to see the Beach Volleyball (both men and women’s) on Friday 3 August at the Horse Guards Parade, so I also get to hang out with the Prime Minister. Brilliant.
