On Monday I’m starting the Dukan diet. It’s the 00s version of what Weight
Watchers was for the 80s. Everyone knows someone who’s done it or is still currently on it, and the success rate is huge! I work with numbers, if something has a large probability of success I am much more likely to attempt it – why set yourself up for failure?
I think the trickiest bit will be planning all protein meals so I’m going to write a meal plan for the whole week, using a bunch of recipes found all over the internet and in the book, and stick to it that way.
I think, more than carbs, the thing I am going to miss is wine. There’s nothing quite like that first delicious sip of a warm, red Merlot. Torture.
I will post recipes I find amazing, and probably a few bitchy moments when the lack of wine kicks in.
But really, if it’s good enough for my long lost rellies, the Middleton’s (specifically Pippa’s arse) it’s sure as hell good enough for me!

you and me chicken (oooh – we’re allowed chicken!)
that first Attack phase will be hard – but I found this great recipe last night, which I think will be a firm favourite of mine!

Ooooh yes! That looks delicious and so easy!
oohhhh looks tempting especially as I always gravitate to protein… but no wine??!?! Sigh…. then again if there is results…
where is the best place for info on logistics of doing this?
You can buy the book or eBook for the full story.
The main website I linked to also has a lot of info on it. I think it’s important to read the book though to ensure you understand it and aren’t doing it half-arsed and wasting your time without any amazing results to show for it!
The no wine thing doesn’t sit right with me either. But I figure it will be worth it in the long run!
Any questions, just ask (not that I consider myself a pro)!
No wine – but Vodka, lime and soda is allowed a little later
