I bet that scared ya.
I’m very happy with the end result! My hairdresser ended up cutting it into a style that was a mix of the photos I had printed out and showed everyone for their opinions.
It’s a choppy, layered cut that’s ever-so-slightly longer in the front. She did explain reasons for why this is, but I’m buggered if I can remember them. I’m just going with the fact that it dries in no time at all, and looks like the picture above – no styling! I added a little non-frizz serum to the tips, but that’s it. My hairdresser said my curls could take a bit to come back after being chopped, but it’s looking like they’re already back.
She’s also done a number on my colours. I am (ash) blonde *ahem* mostly, but need the odd touch up. This time two other tones, a creamy beige and a caramel, have also been added. I love it. It gets rid of that brassy, gold tone.
Of course I snapped a very unattractive before photo – you know like on infomercials before the model has lost all that weight and she looks like she’s been slapped with a giant mackerel and not slept in 6 weeks… yeah here’s mine… just for effect.
Definitely preferring the shorter hair. It was the boost I needed!
And yes, that’s a disco ball in my bathroom. That’s how I roll…

OK, so i love the disco ball haha. You look great as always – the shorter cut looks much fresher – I like it
