I can share a pizza, a bottle of Pinot Noir, and then a large box of popcorn with him and he doesn’t bat an eyelid. I love it.
My best friend dated a man a couple of months ago that she was nervous to eat in front of because he would never finish his meals. I’m just like her, if I order the ribs, fries and vegies I am going to finish them all. She had to end it because it just wasn’t working for her, and I can understand why. If you can’t be yourself with them, why bother?!
I too have dated men in the past that I’d been nervous to eat in front of – I think most women have been through it – especially if the date includes dinner and a movie. As my date said to me last night; “you gotta have popcorn in a movie!” My thoughts exactly.

No-one wants to look like a pig at a trough, but at the same time I’m not going to sit there and push lettuce around a plate.
Speaking of pigs, the Pinot we had last night… Squealing Pig. Now on my top five list.
Also, today one of my date’s friend’s was here at work and let slip that he was planning to invite me out to meet his friends on Saturday night, but I already had plans. Aw. These are positive moves!

LOL it is important to have a guy you can eat in front of. I was recounting to Mr. R how I’d been so busy I literally had not had time to eat and he was all concerned – “You’re not starving yourself, are you?”. Bless him, my body could probably live off my ass for a week, but it was sweet that he was concerned. Very promising, B!
That made me giggle. Aww good Mr R, lovely man!
Awwww! Sooo sweet of him!! He sounds like a keeper! ^_^
Aw I’m so glad you feel comfortable around this new guy
I think that is a massive sign that it’s going well!
Too often I see people who are trying to hide who they are on dates and always worrying about what the guy thinks about everything. That’s when I know it won’t last!
I really really love how this seems to be going well for you, B!
