“I brought my pen!” “Why?” “To give out my number…”

The art exhibition was fascinating, not only the art, but the attendees. I spotted not one, but two dead-ringers for Mr Bean. I wanted to ask for a photo or go all paparazzi on their arses, but it was decided it was a classy ‘do and three glasses of wine and a square of pizza fought off from the masses was not a legit excuse to get myself snapped. No pun intended…

Honestly, hanging out with these (gay) male friends of ours is totally refreshing! One kept trying to perve at the photographer the whole night and drop crude jokes. And declared he had brought a pen with him, just so he could write his number down. I do like how assertive and confident they are though, I think women need to take a leaf our their book. Even though 90% of the men at the ‘do looked gay, I think most were just the cooky-arts types. Sadly the small square of pizza did not suffice, so we headed to Tanuki’s (Japanese) for a light meal to top the evening off.

Thursday night Sarina and I went to see Inception. UH-MAY-ZING! People have put it down, and complained about it, and said it was rubbish; to those people: you don’t understand it! I want to see it again!

Yesterday Sarina and I again went to the movies (why do all good movies come out at once and then there’s a huge lull?!?!) to see Toy Story 3, in 3D. It was super cute, loved it! My eyes even welled up at the end and I had to tell myself to pull it together! After that we stopped for lunch, stopped by the art exhibition again (for free coffee!!!!), picked up a friend and then popped into the Smith and Cauhey’s sale. It was crazy. People everywhere and still not that much that I could afford – without whipping out the credit card.
