So I’m swearing off men for a bit. They’re hard work. Haha. I still have the cousin hanging around, he’s happy to please – but we’ll see. He’s really not boyfriend material, and lives 20-30 minutes drive from me in good traffic – it’s seriously not convenient!
So it’s just friends time. I do have male friends, but really I can count them basically as female friends. Sorry guys! You don’t count as men. Haha. Some have seen me naked, you hear about my men issues and give advice, you give me shit when I have blonde moments and listen to me grizzle when I have PMS. You’re fabulous! (Side note: none of them are gay, we just have an understanding between us all that works.)
Tonight I went to the cinema to see The Women with six girlfriends. Yes, I was skeptical. But seriously – it was the funniest movie I’ve seen in a while! It is definitely one to see with your best gal pals. Warning: do not take your man! He will not understand it and I’m sure you wont laugh as hard. I’m sure the rest of the cinema thought we were slightly insane laughing the whole way through it, but hey, when you’re with the right people you can’t help not having fun! Laughter is contagious.

I had a bit of “me” time and it did me the world of good hun. I think you’ve made a good choice.
thanks sweetie – i’m thinking it’s a good thing.
Taking a break from dating and emotions and ‘love’ in general is a good thing.
I’m enjoying being single. Hopefully the break will do you good.
