It’s only Wednesday?! My God! It has been the most jam-packed few days of my life! I already blogged about Saturday and Sunday, which by themselves I thought were crazy and full on and expected it to die off… but no. I was so very wrong. It’s just kept damn well going!
On Monday I had my last full day of work (hopefully until Uni holidays!) and then arrived home to find a huge pile of parts of my house all over the front lawn. Which I was then advised by my mum all needed to be thrown into the huge skip-bin she’d just had delivered. Brilliant. After lugging an old laundry tub, jib and planks of timber with rusty nails into the huge bin I had to head off to my netball game and pre-game training. We did awesomely and won 18-10. It was a good game, the other team started to get a bit snitchy near the end – I even got accused of elbowing my opponent in the face!! I’m sure I would have remembered that and the guys on the sideline said they didn’t see it. Weird. Maybe she did it to herself?
Tuesday I had work in the morning, I actually thought I had a full day work work ahead of me, until I checked our Uni website and found that there was a class scheduled for the afternoon! Damnit. Got to Uni early to catch up with a friend, Iain, haven’t seen him since November so it was great to catch up! He invited me for a drink with our other friend, Alan, and himself but unfortunately I had a prior engagement…
Pub quiz night – oh my God. Serious fun!! Our team came 3rd out of 15 teams. So I’m thrilled. I was feeling the pressure being the newbie and all. Didn’t want to make them suck. Haha.
It’s now Wednesday, I had my Second World War class this morning. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Not only is the content absolutely fascinating, but the lecturer is awesome!! I can see me loving this class.
I made it to work by 12pm to do the all important payroll. Less than an hour to go now! Then at 5pm I’m off to play tennis. I’m hoping for another successful round, like last week.
I am seriously looking forward to tomorrow. Tomorrow is Thursday which is officially bum-day for me. All I have on tomorrow is a two hour lecture in the morning. No sports, no work, no prior engagement. And that’s how I plan to keep it. Sure I may go for a run in the afternoon… and read my book… watch a DVD… just simply sit on my ass.

Sounds like you’re back into it with a hiss and a roar this week. I flitted around orientation getting everything sorted and then ran errands before getting into work at half four. So so so so tired – I’m looking forward to Friday which apart from getting a WOF, sending a package to the Perth girlie bloggers and working on a secret special surprise is my bum day… now that I spell it all out, it doesn’t seem like such a bum day but it will be my quietest day this week.
