I’m off to frolic on my friend’s farm in Warkworth for a week with these lovely people and another 30 or so.
This photo was taken last time we popped up to the farm.
I can not wait; camping, drinking, friends, a paddling pool!!, fishing, quad biking, trips to the beach, camp fires, BBQing and of course New Years Eve at Matakana Highlife. Oh bring it on!

Good lord. That was a busy couple of days. I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas with their friends and family! I sure did. It was wonderful!
I was looking through some photos of last Christmas and was absolutely shocked by a photo I saw of myself. Most who read my blog will know I’m working hard to lose weight, which I seem to have now got the hang of.
When I saw these photos of myself last Christmas I nearly fainted. They’re terrible. But, I’m so thrilled with what I have achieved. 18kgs sure does make a difference.

I haven’t done one of these in ages! So thought I should put in the effort.
Yes it’s very hot and sunny outside, a high of 23*C. I can’t wait to experience a white, winter Christmas.
