There has been huge controversy the last few days over a very opinionated media presenter here in New Zealand. Of course if you’re a Kiwi you already know who I am speaking of, Mr Paul Henry.
I know what he said was appalling and the poor woman is probably not coping. But really the way the media and audience have come crashing down on him is all due to the PCness we now live in.
Mr Henry has always been a tad controversial. But that’s why so many people love watching him! He interviews politicians (an ex-politician himself), celebrities, sports people, and the general-Joe’s of New Zealand. I think he does a fantastic job. I just hope he hasn’t got himself into too much trouble with this one. I would miss him on the morning Breakfast show.

Hehe. From what I’ve read the woman’s been coping just fine. To be honest I feel more sorry for Alison Mau et al… imagine having to work with the ego of that man!

as my mum said – all he really did is read out the viewers responses
& thanks Taf – I’m glad the lady isn’t losing the plot over it!
