Things are happening and yes I am alive!

Recently my blog visits have sky rocketed! So thank you new readers, and welcome to my little bubble of crazyness and delusion.

Lately work has been chaotic! We had two tenders due Monday morning, so I ended up coming in Saturday (with my boss) and we worked through them. Thankfully they were both submitted Monday morning, 55 minutes early!!!! New record for us. We decided to go out for brunch to celebrate, rebels I know.

I’m still training for my half marathon in October. Up to 10km runs now, once a week, with a couple of 5-6kms runs in between. Feeling more confident with every run. Bring on that 21kms! Psssh!

Also, my boss has done the inevitable and set me up on a blind date with one of his friends. Well, my boss gave his friend my number, so we’re texting at the moment. I don’t think I really have the balls to meet someone without knowing ANYTHING. I wish I did. Even after all that internet dating?? Yeah, still a wuss. We’ll see how this idea rolls… I haven’t dated anyone for MONTHS. By months I mean since April. Yes April 2010.
